Birthday MVP

Sadly, the For the Win stamp set, is retiring! It will be on my shelf for a while though as I tend to collect these sports related stamp sets. They don’t come around very often! I created this card today, #20, for the sports fan! It is a great birthday card for someone young or old who is a sport fanatic at heart. The classic color combo even reminds me of sports! Do you know someone that would love this card? Well you can make it with a few simple pieces!

-a die cut star, because every birthday kid is a star

-some ribbon accents (I used white and a Poppy Parade stripe)

-a coloured trophy (use what you have to color, but I used the Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends)

-a label with Birthday MVP (I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies) and stamp the MVP twice and hand cut it out to pop up on Dimensionals. I stamped Pacific Point on Balmy Blue

-a little background stamping with Hiphip Hooray and…

-finish it off with some bling and marker flicking!

Its that EASY! I know I am going to make a bunch of these to have on hand for birthdays!

I have a little MVP in my house turning 10 in June. I can’t actually believe it. All of my kids will be in the double digits. I will probably cry like a baby on his birthday!
